We are based in Karori, Wellington.

We are an inclusive community, accepting all people of peace, irrespective of age, race, culture, creed or sexuality.

We believe in exploring the Bible with the resources of contemporary scholarship, while at the same time offering loving service to the wider community.

We offer a place of warmth and security to worship God and enjoy one another’s company as we journey together on our search for understanding and purpose.

Confirmation Classes

We had our third Confirmation class on Sunday 21st June following worship.

In our one-hour class, we shared our understanding of God, reviewed the names of the books of the Old and New Testament, and started discussing the genres of the different books found in the Bible.

This week’s challenge: Read one of the following texts and decide what type of literature it is. Explain your choice:

  • Leviticus 19

  • 1 Kings 11

  • Mark 4:1-9

  • Philemon

  • Revelation 6

If you’re interested in joining us, it’s not too late. We will be accepting new participants through the end of June.

Next Confirmation Class: Sunday 28th June, following worship
Topic: Genres of The Bible
Who: All ages, histories, and denominations

If you have any questions or are interested in getting confirmed or baptised, please contact Amy at stnup.youth@xtra.co.nz.
