Groups mainly for young people

Jellytots Community Playgroup

Run by a combined group of people from the wider community, caregivers from Kidstart Barnados and members of St Ninian’s Uniting Church, the playgroup is held every Friday morning in school terms, from 9.30am – 11.30am in the Common Room and Hall at St Ninians.

For the pre-school children attending there are wide range of activities including Music, Story Time, Craft and Morning Tea. For parents and caregivers it is a chance to chat, meet friends, get another pair of arms to hold your baby, and provide a listening ear and caring support.

Everyone with children is welcome, a $3 donation per family is appreciated.

Kidz Church

Children’s church caters for preschool and primary school children. We meet every Sunday at 10 am in the church. After a time of worship with the congregation the children go to Sunday school rooms for their own activities. The first Sunday of the month is Communion, that means the children come up to join the adults for the sharing of the bread and wine (juice).
