| Karori Community Centre -The Lighthouse | |
| The Parish continues an active involvement in the management of the Karori Community Centre. The Drop-in Centre provides a comfortable place for folk to meet and eat. The Monday lunch is also extremely popular but could use some more helpers. | |
| St. John's Opportunity Shop | |
| The Opportunity Shop is situated behind the Karori Community Centre and has almost completed 11 years of trading. | |
| Some members of the Parish are volunteers in the shop. Donated goods are sold and funds raised are used to assist groups in the community such as local schools and kindergartens, Life Flight Trust, Mary Potter Hospice, SPCA, Red Cross, Karori Community Centre, Marsden Club and the Jean Sutton Music Scholarship. Regular donations are also made to the Downtown Ministry, Wesley Wellington and the Karori Food Bank. | |

| A group of keen bowlers meets on Monday afternoon's at St. John's Hall. New members are always welcome. Just drop in and see us or contact Lynley for more information. | |
| School Holiday Programme | |
| Each school holidays, a holiday drop in programme is offered on Tuesday mornings (9:30 - 12 noon) for children aged 5- 12 years of age. The programme includes singing, stories, craft activities, baking, and games with a Christian focus. For more information contact the office. | |
